Rolls-Royce has revealed a new Ghost, which they claim is their most technologically advanced model to date.
It replaces the previous Ghost, the most popular model in Rolls-Royce’s 116-year history.
Based on Rolls-Royce’s rigid aluminium spaceframe architecture, the new Ghost has all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering, as well as a ground-breaking Planar suspension system. Power comes from a 563bhp, 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 engine.
The design philosophy is more minimalist than its predecessor, foregoing the ostentatious trappings of wealth for an understated serenity with interior components tuned to specific resonant frequency, down-lit Pantheon grille, and electrically opening and closing doors.
Pricing and launch details are to be confirmed.
