Peugeot have confirmed pricing and specification details for the all-new 208 and fully-electric e-208 models.
Prices for the all-new 208 will start from £16,250, while the e-208 will start from £25,050, with deliveries for both to commence early next year.
Active, Allure and GT Line trim levels will be available on all models, while the e-208 also gets a range-topping GT model.
Peugeot i-Cockpit with a compact multifunction steering wheel, configurable head-up display, 7 or 10-inch HD colour touchscreen, and satin chrome piano toggle switches, are standard features inside every 208 and e-208, and the cabin can be further personalised with a choice of eight LED mood lighting colours. Also available is Peugeot Connect SOS and Assistance, programmable Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Mirror Screen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink.
Four 1.2-litre PureTech petrol engines are available, ranging in power from 73bhp to 128bhp, as well as a 99bhp 1.5-litre BlueHDi diesel.
Meanwhile, the new e-208 uses a 50kWh battery and 136hp electric motor to provide a 211 mile range from a full charge, and has three driving modes – Sport, Normal and Eco. The e-208 also features unique styling cues to set the electric model apart, including a body coloured chequered front grille, a bespoke monogrammed ‘e’ on the C-pillar and a dichroic Lion, which changes colour from different angles. The all-new e-208 comes with a Mode 3 Type 2 cable as standard, which will charge the vehicle in 7.5 hours with a 7kW charging point.
