Nissan have released the sportiest ever version of the popular Juke; the NISMO RS is their 8th new model of 2014.
Nissan claim their latest offering will boast higher performance, a sharper chassis arrangement, better braking and extra equipment and will be very different animal to the already well respected compact crossover.
The Juke NISMO RS will be available in only three exterior colours - Storm White, Pearl Black and Blade Silver with one bespoke interior trim. Options will include sports bucket seats made by Recaro and a collection of safety measures such as Xenon headlamps, Lane Departure Warning and Blind Spot Warning. Audible and visual warnings will help to avoid potential collisions.
2WD versions will come with 40% more carrying capacity following a reshuffle of the luggage compartment and a fold flat rear seating arrangement will increase the practicality and flexibility of the interior. It will be powered by 1.6 litre DIG-T engine delivering 218 PS and 280Nm of torque. A Mechanical Limited Slip Differential will come as standard on 2WD models as will revised springs and dampeners.
Prices will start from £21,995 and the NISMO RS is on sale now.
