Mercedes-Benz have refreshed their SLC range with the announcement of a new entry-level model.
Priced from £32,039, the Mercedes-Benz SLC 180 AMG Line features a 156bhp, 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine, capable of 140mph and acceleration from 0-62mph in 7.9 seconds, while still delivering 48.7mph combined and CO2 emissions as low as 134g/km. A six-speed manual transmission is fitted as standard, with a 9G-Tronic automatic available for an extra £1,600. The model also boasts 18-inch alloy wheels, Artico seats, Active Brake Assist, cruise control, air conditioning, sports suspension, and sports braking system.
The changes to the range have seen the SLC Sport discontinued, leaving the AMG Line as the only option in a simplified line up, however the AMG Line trim has seen its price reduced by £500.
The new Mercedes-Benz SLC 180 AMG Line is on sale now, with first deliveries planned for this summer.
