A new MG3 supermini has been introduced, replacing the current model which has sold over 10,000 units during its four years on UK sale.
The new MG3’s styling brings it in line with the rest of the manufacturer’s line-up, as does the addition of a 7-year/80,000-mile warranty.
Prices start from £9,495 for the entry-level Explore model, £11,395 for the mid-range Excite, and £12,795 for the range-topping Exclusive. All have Bluetooth as standard, while Excite and Exclusive versions include 8-inch colour touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, DAB radio, and steering wheel audio controls. Top-of-the-range Exclusive models have a reversing camera with dynamic guidelines as standard.
The most striking feature of the MG3’s new styling is the grille, billed as the ‘star-rider’ design by the manufacturer and which brings the supermini in line with the familial looks of the rest of MG’s current output. Changes on the inside see a new, roomier interior, with class-leading head and legroom and an increased boot capacity of 285 litres.
