Prices for the new Jeep Renegade will start from £19,200 when the model hits UK showrooms next month.

The latest Renegade will feature new front-end styling, new petrol and diesel engines with improved fuel economy, updated interior with increased storage capacity, new LED headlights, new wheel designs, and extra safety technology.

The entry-level Renegade Sport 1.0 GSE T3 MT FWD is powered by a new 120bhp 1.0-litre petrol engine. Also new to the range is a 1.3-litre petrol delivering 150hp or 180hp. Updated diesel engines are on offer in the form of the 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre MultiJet II power plants with Selective Catalytic Reduction, all of which are Euro 6d-TEMP/D compliant. Six-speed manual, Dual Dry Clutch Transmission, nine-speed automatic transmissions are available.

A redesigned, cut-in silhouette 7-slot Jeep grille similar to the one found on the Wrangler, and new headlights and fog lights give the Renegade’s front end a fresh look. The new model year also offers seven different wheel options, including 16-inch, 17-inch, 18-inch and 19-inch, all featuring special finishes.
Inside, the new Jeep Renegade is available with Uconnect 5-inch or Uconnect 8.4-inch NAV, with touchscreens to allow the driver to control the climate system and the sound system.

Two-wheel or four-wheel drive versions are available, the latter with Jeep Active Drive and Jeep Active Drive Low systems. State-of-the-art safety systems available on the new model include six standard airbags, electronic stability control with electronic rollover mitigation, Lane Sense Departure Warning-Plus, and Intelligent Speed Assist with Traffic Sign Recognition.
