The Jeep Cherokee range will be joined by a new special edition model later this week when the new Night Eagle version goes on sale priced at £36,795 on-the-road.
The Cherokee Night Eagle limited edition is based on the mid-range Longitude Plus trim level and will be see just 350 examples made available to UK buyers.
The Cherokee Night Eagle will sport satin-finished grey accents on the front grille-mounted Jeep badge, the fog light frames, black gloss roof bars and the Night Eagle name badge, as well as exclusive 18-inch black gloss alloy wheels and deep tint sunscreen glass. There is a leather steering wheel and upholstery, heated front seats, driver’s seat electric lumbar adjustment, Uconnect infotainment system with 8.4-inch screen and SatNav, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, electric tailgate, rear parking sensors, automatic headlamps with washer, rain sensing wipers, and power folding mirrors, while the sound system boasts nine speakers with subwoofer.
There are four paint finish options; Brilliant Black, Bright White, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal. Under the bonnet, a 2.2-litre MultiJet II turbo diesel engine produces 200 bhp which, with nine-speed automatic transmission, gives the 4x4 a top speed of 127 mph and 0-62 mph acceleration in 8.5 seconds, while returning 49.6 mpg combined.
