Jaguar have freshened up their XF range, including the announcement of a brand new model - the XF R-Sport Black.

Priced at £38,350 for the saloon, or £40,850 for the Sportbrake estate model, the Jaguar XF R-Sport Black boasts 20-inch Black Kalimnos alloy wheels, a 770-watt Meridian Surround Sound system, and full bond-grain leather upholstery with 18-way memory function sports seats. The XF R-Sport Black is powered a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine which produces 197bhp.  The model comes in a choice of five paint finishes - Kyanite Blue, Italian Racing Red, Glacier White, Ultimate Black, and Stratus Grey. Of those, the Kyanite Blue is the most exclusive, and will be limited to just 100 examples.

In addition to the new model, Jaguar have made a number of changes to the XF range as a whole.  All models will now come as standard with Winter Comfort Pack and Parking Pack, meaning all will feature heated seats and windscreen as well as front parking sensor and rear parking camera.

The range of specifications has been streamlined, and the entry-level model is now the £33,445 XF Luxury saloon model. The Luxury trim level, in addition to now featuring the Winter Comfort Pack and Parking Pack as standard, will now also include Gloss Dark Oak veneer, while those versions powered by the 197bhp 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine will now get larger 18-inch Manra wheels. The R-Sport trim level will boast a 380-watt Meridian Audio system as standard, with 197bhp 2.2-litre diesel-powered models also being upgraded to 19-inch Grey Aquila wheels. The Portfolio trim level now has Parking Pack, Blind Spot Monitor, and 19-inch Artura wheels as standard, as well as the 380-watt Meridian Sound System, while the Diesel S Portfolio specification gains the full Parking Aid Pack, Blind Spot Monitor, and 770-watt Meridian Sound System. The XFR trim now includes stainless steel pedals, Speed Pack, Rear View Camera, Blind Spot Monitor, and Red Brake Calipers, while the range-topping XFR-S models have gained Rear View Camera and Blind Spot Monitor as standard. The top-of-the-range model in the latest XF line up is the ferocious 543bhp 5.0-litre V8 XFR-S, priced at £79,995 for the saloon and £82,495 for the Sportbrake model.

Jaguar Land Rover Managing Director Jeremy Hicks said: “The XF combines style, luxury, comfort and the kind of sporty drive that only Jaguars deliver. That’s why it has always been popular with customers – and, thanks to the addition of R-Sport Black and our 2015 range enhancements, it now offers even better value for money.”

Full price and specification details for the XF range can be found at your local Jaguar dealership, where all models in the refreshed line up, including the new XF R-Sport Black, are available to order.
