Prices for the Volkswagen Arteon will now start from £33,085 on-the-road after the manufacturer introduced a new entry-level SE specification.
Volkswagen retailers will start taking orders for the Arteon SE this week, with the new model slotting into the range beneath the existing Elegance and R-Line trim levels.
The Arteon SE is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine fitted with a 7-speed DSG transmission, and comes equipped with 18-inch Almere alloy wheels, full LED lights, adaptive cruise control with Front Assist, a Discover Navigation system with 8.0-inch touch screen display, three-zone climate, two USB ports, front and rear parking sensors, and a Wireless App Connect system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Additional engine and gearbox options are expected to become available in SE specification later in the year.
