A new 228bhp 3.0-litre V6 TDI diesel engine option has been added to the Volkswagen Touareg range.
Available across all trim levels, prices for the new engine start from £48,995 on-the-road for the entry-level SEL model.
As with all Touareg’s, the new 3.0-litre V6 TDI is accompanied by an eight-speed tiptronic automatic gearbox, 4MOTION four-wheel drive, and a limited slip differential. Emissions from the new engine come in at 173g/km.
Entry-level SEL trim features Vienna Black leather, LED white interior lighting, leather-trimmed gear knob with gloss black inlay and aluminium trim, leather-trimmed steering wheel with paddle shift, gloss black inserts, and aluminium trim, Discover Navigation Pro infotainment system with 9.2-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth telephone and audio connection, DAB radio, 19-inch ‘Osorno’ alloy wheels, full LED headlights, LED static cornering lights, and LED rear tail lights.
R-Line trim includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Assist, 20-inch ‘Braga’ Dark Graphite diamond-turned alloy wheels, sports suspension, Gloss Black rear diffuser, 4Zone climate control system, electric tailgate, a rear-view camera, and Park Assist.
R-Line Tech trim adds Discover Premium infotainment system with 15-inch touchscreen, Nav-Gen4-Routing, 12-inch high-resolution TFT digital screen, 14-way adjustable front ergoComfort seats with ‘Vienna’ leather, keyless entry, and keyless start.
The all-new Touareg range, including models powered by the new 3.0-litre V6 TDI, are available to order now at Volkswagen retailers.
