Nissan has added a new engine to its Pulsar range which produces almost 190bhp.
The DIG-T 90 turbocharged petrol engine will top the Pulsar range, and will be available in three trim levels.
With a 0-62mph time of 7.7 seconds the engine is the most potent in the range, but still returns up to 49.5mpg combined while emitting as little as 134g/km of CO2. The Euro 6 compliant engine included a new ESP set-up, shorther gearing, exhaust gas recirculation, and low friction technology.
A package of upgrades accompanying the new engine include a new fined-tuned power steering system, new suspension settings, 18-inch wheels, and a stiffened body shell for improved torsional rigidity.
The new engine is available to order now in Acenta, n-tec, and Tekna trim, priced from £19,645. All DIG-T 190 models include bespoke diamond cut two-tone alloy wheels, exclusive headlamp design, and chrome exhaust finisher. Inside, the DIG-T 90 models are distinguished by a full width dashboard trim finisher and three spoke steering wheel with white stitching.
