Order books have opened for the new Citroen C3, which goes on official UK sale at the start of next month.
Prices start from £10,995 on-the-road for the highly customisable model, which launches with 36 individual colour combinations. The bold new design of the C3 - with high bonnet line, wheel arch extensions, and ‘floating’ roof – is accentuated further by the choice of 9 body colours and 3 roof colours. To the rear are 3D lights, and newly-designed chevrons and C3 in black with chrome surround. The body can be specified in optional Airbump panels, providing protection against everyday dents and scrapes.
Three interior options are available, and the spacious cabin is further enhances by a panoramic glass sunroof. The attention to detail is evident, down to the light-trimmed door pocket interior designed to make it easier to see contents in poor light.
Citroen’s new ConnectedCAM makes its debut in the C3, boasting a wide-angle HD camera, GPS technology and a 128GB memory. It can be used to safely take photos or videos that can be instantly shared via social media using a free app, and also operates as a conventional dashcam. The new C3’s 7-inch colour touchscreen provides access to the CitroënConnect Nav, the latest-generation navigation system which is both touch and voice activated. The new Citroën C3 also features MirrorLink and Apple CarPlay, a reversing camera, hill-start assist, lane departure warning system, blind-spot monitoring and a driver attention alert.
The new C3 range includes a choice of three PureTech petrol and two BlueHDi diesel engines, the latter offering sub-100g/km CO2 emissions.
