Renault has added a new option pack to the latest Clio Renault Sport models.
The Black Edition option pack adds black exterior touches to the new Clio Renault Sport 220 Trophy and Clio Renault Sport 200 models. The pack black gloss door handles, moulding inserts, side mouldings, front blade, tailgate moulding and badging, and rear diffuser to the 220 Trophy model, while the Clio Renault Sport 200 gains all that plus 17-inch black alloy wheels. The Black Edition pack option costs an additional £200 for the Clio Renault Sport 220 Trophy, and £350 for the Clio Renault Sport 200 version.
Both models are on sale now priced from £20,295 on-the-road, powered by a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine in 200bhp and 220bhp form fixed to a six-sped EDC gearbox with wheel-mounted paddle shifts. This combination sees the Clio Renault Sport 200 go from 0-62mph in 6.7 seconds, with the Clio Renault Sport 220 Trophy a fraction quicker a 6.6 seconds, while still returning 47.9 mpg combined. There are three chassis options available – Sport, Cup, and Trophy – each offering different characteristics. The Renault Sport models also include Launch Control, the R.S. Drive system with a choice of Normal, Sport, and Race driving modes, the R.S. Monitor telemetry application, rally-derived hydraulic compression bump stops, and new R.S. Vision LED lighting system which appears in the form of a chequered flag for a distinctive look and outstanding lighting performance.
