Bentley have added new top-of-the-range model to the Flying Spur line up.
The Flying Spur W12 S is the first four-door Bentley capable of topping 200mph, powered by a 626bhp, 6.0-litre, twin-turbo v12 engine producing 605 lb-ft of torque. With an all-wheel-drive system and new tuned suspension optimising road-holding, 0-60mph takes just 4.2 seconds, while scrubbing that speed back off again can be aided by choosing the carbon ceramic brakes with red or black painted callipers.
Bentley have bestowed upon the Flying Spur W12 S the looks to go with the performance, with extensive blackware detailing – including Beluga gloss radiator grille and light surrounds – a rear diffuser and optional carbon fibre veneer. W12 S badging, LED daytime running lights and 21-inch alloys – including gloss-black 7-spoke or spoke designs - complete the look. Inside, the upholstery has unique leather stitching to compliment the darker feel of the W12 S’ gloss-black detailing, with a choice of 17 hide colours. The W12 S emblem also appears on the headrests and treadplates, while there is a three-spoke Sport Plus steering wheel and knurled gearshift paddles.
For those who prefer to be chauffeured, the climate and infotainment systems can be controlled from the rear seat via the veneered rear centre console, while the model also boasts a WiFi hotspot.
Bentley boss Wolfgang Dürheimer said: “The Flying Spur W12 S is the ultimate luxury performance sedan. It combines sharper dynamics and an increase in power from our renowned W12 engine with a more assertive exterior and interior design for customers looking for a Flying Spur with extra attitude.”
