The Range Rover Evoque Convertible has been unveiled in a ceremony in Los Angeles by James Bond actress Naomie Harris.
Harris – better known as Moneypenny to Bond fans – introduced the brand’s first luxury compact convertible SUV at Santa Monica Beach ahead of its official world premiere at Los Angeles Auto Show.
The award-winning Evoque has found 450,000 buyers worldwide since its launch in 2011, making it the fastest-selling Land Rover product ever, and now the range will grow to incorporate the new Convertible from next Spring. When it goes on sale in the UK the Range Rover Evoque Convertible will be priced from £47,500 for the TD4 HSE Dynamic.
“I was so impressed by the design of this car; it’s like nothing I’ve seen on the road before and is so sleek!”, gushed Harris after introducing the new model. “I love the fact that it is just as much at home driving down the Pacific Coast Highway in LA, as it is off-road in the British Countryside”.
