A new limited edition MINI is on the way, and the manufacturer says it will be the fastest to ever carry the name.
Priced from £33,895, the MINI John Cooper Works GP is powered by a 306bhp four-cylinder turbo engine which, combined with cutting-edge chassis technology and model-specific aerodynamic features has enabled it to lap the infamous Nordschleife at the Nürburgring in under eight minutes.
Just 3,000 examples of the MINI John Cooper Works GP will be produced. It will make its public bow at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, which opens on 22 November.
