MG have announced that the new ZS compact SUV, which arrives in UK showrooms this week, will come as standard with a transferrable 7-year/80,000-mile warranty.
The warranty is standard across the whole range, and is transferrable to any new owner inside the 7-year/80-mile limit, guaranteeing genuine MG replacement parts.
“This is MG putting its money where its mouth is,” said the manufacturer’s sales and marketing chief Matthew Cheyne.
“With the introduction of a 7 year warranty, we are making a clear statement of intent about the quality of our design, engineering and manufacturing. Our goal is to deliver hassle-free motoring in stylish cars that stand up to the toughest of challenges.”
The MG ZS also comes with the option of a six-year anti-perforation warranty covering against corrosion.
The new MG ZS hits UK showrooms on 1 November, priced from £12,495.
