The latest sales figures from the Society of Motor Traders make encouraging reading for British-based manufacturer MG.
Impressive sales figures for April, up by 39 per cent compared to the same month last year, have helped MG break through the 1,000 registration mark for 2015 so far. That means new MG sales are up by over 50 per cent compared to the first four months of 2014, and more than double those for the same period in 2013.
With the new MG6 ready to roll of the Longbridge production line, the manufacturer is confident that the good times are here to stay.
"With the release of the latest figures, it shows the continual growth and success of MG's sales”, said MG’s Head of Marketing Matthew Cheyne.
“These figures are increasing month by month, and this is all before the new MG6 has officially landed. With dealer demonstrators going out to our dealer network this week, we have high hopes that based on feedback, demands for test drives and deposits already paid, the new MG6 will bring the brand even more success."
