In response to rapidly growing sales, Longbridge-based carmaker MG has announced a half-a-million pound investment in its UK Training Centre and distribution hub.

The MG Training Centre in Birmingham is being expanded for more workshop space to train MG specialist technicians, while the facilities are also being upgraded in order to accommodate electric and hybrid vehicle training.

Meanwhile, to cope with extra demand, the parts distribution centre is also being given an upgrade.  The move comes as MG looks to build on record sales in 2017, with sales already up by 67% in the first quarter of this year.
