Launch details for the new race-inspired Mercedes-AMG GT R PRO limited edition have been confirmed by the manufacturer.
The 585bhp GT R PRO will set you back a not inconsiderable £188,345, but with a 4.0-litre biturbo V8 under the bonnet it will go from 0-62mph in just 3.6 seconds and with the potential to hit 198mph. Aerodynamic tuning have given the GT R PRO a boost in downforce over the GT R, while a new suspension has helped fine-tune the driving dynamics. Lightweight-design bucket seats further enhance the racing feel of the model.
Standard features include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster display and multimedia display, carbon ceramic brakes, matt black roll cage, 19-inch/20-inch AMG five-twin-spoke forged-alloy wheels painted in titanium grey, a Premium package including Burmester surround sound system and Keyless-Go package, AMG Matt Black Carbon Fibre Trim package, AMG Track package, Active Aerodynamics, AMG Ride Control sports suspension with adjustable damper system, AMG electronically controlled rear axle limited-slip differential lock, light green racing stripes, Parking package including Parking Assist PARKTRONIC, AMG Carbon package with rear diffuser and front splitter in carbon fibre, AMG Traction Control, and AMG Interior Night package.
Order books are open now with first deliveries expected in July.
