Prices have now been confirmed for the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4MATIC+ Four-Door Coupe, which has gone on sale this week.

Prices start from £121,350 for the GT 63 4MATIC+, with the GT 63 S 4MATIC+ priced from £135,550, and the GT 63 S 4MATIC+ Edition 1 from £148,950.

Power comes from AMG’s hand-built 4.0-litre V8 biturbo petrol engine, which generates 577bhp and more than 590 lb/ft of torque.  Those figures rise to 630bhp and 664 lb/ft for the S versions. The GT 63 can reach 62 mph from a standing start in 3.4 seconds, while the GT 63 S takes just 3.2 seconds. GT 63 returns a combined fuel consumption of 25.2 mpg and CO2 emissions of 256 g/km, with GT 63 S delivering 25.0 mpg and 257 g/km of CO2 emissions.

An AMG Speedshift MCT 9G transmission – with a wet start-off clutch for reduced weight and optimal response – is fitted to all three versions, as is AMG Ride Control+ suspension and continuous adjustable damping.

Other standard equipment includes 20-inch AMG 5-double-spoke light- alloy wheels, Multibeam LED Intelligent headlights, parking package and 360° camera, 12.3-inch infotainment and cockpit display with widescreen effect, ambient lighting with a choice of 64 colours, heated front and rear seats, Comand Online infotainment system, AMG Track Pace, wireless charging, Keyless-Go Comfort package including keyless start and hands-free access, fully automatic opening and closing boot lid, Burmester surround sound system, and Nappa leather AMG Performance steering wheel. The S models gain AMG Dynamic Plus package with electronic rear-axle differential lock, ‘RACE’ drive mode including ‘Drift-Mode’, larger front brake discs with yellow painted AMG brake callipers, 20-inch AMG mutli- spoke alloy wheels, and an AMG Performance steering wheel upholstered in Dinamica microfiber. Limited edition AMG GT 63 S Edition 1 further adds Graphite Grey magno paint, 21-inch cross-spoke forged wheels with black inserts, an Aerodynamics package including fixed rear aerofoil finished in high-gloss black, optimised front apron with a front splitter, Premium Plus package, AMG Carbon Matte trim, AMG Nappa leather Magma grey seats with yellow contrast stitching, black Dinamica headlining, Memory package, Air Balance, and AMG Night package.

The Premium Plus package, which is standard on the GT 63 S Edition 1, can be added to the standard models for an extra £3,600, and includes Air Balance package, ENERGIZING Comfort, active multicontour seats with massage function, head-up display, soft door close, and climatised front seats.  For an additional £3,695, the Rear Luxury Lounge package adds individual rear seats, centre console and touch-screen centre display with infotainment function access, Thermotronic automatic climate control, pre-installation for a tablet PC, wireless phone charging for rear passengers, and climatised cup holders.

The new GT 4MATIC+ Four-Door Coupé is available to order now at Mercedes-AMG retailers.
