The new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupé has gone on sale priced from £72,530 on-the-road.
The entry-level GLE 400 d 4MATIC AMG Line Premium Plus is powered by a 330bhp, 3.0-litre, six-cylinder diesel engine which can deliver up to 38.7 mpg combined cycle, emits 193 g/km of CO2, and achieves 0-62mph in 5.7 seconds. Standard features include Airmatic air suspension, 12.3-inch digital cockpit display, 12.3-inch central display, smartphone integration including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Burmester surround sound system, 22-inch alloy wheels, Driving Assistance package, MBUX infotainment system with augmented satellite navigation, head-up display, panoramic sunroof, Multibeam headlights, Energising package, and Magic Vision Control.
A Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ version is also available, priced at £80,615. This boasts a 435bhp 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine with an EQ Boost system which adds an additional 22bhp and also feeds the 48 volt onboard electrical system. As a result, it can go from 0-62mph in just 5.3 seconds, while returning up to 30.4mpg and emitting 212 g/km of CO2. The GLE 53 adds AMG Active Ride Control, 22-inch alloy wheels, AMG steering wheel controls, and AMG Track Pace.
