Mazda are preparing to unveil their MINAGI compact crossover at this year's Geneva Motor Show. The MINAGI is a showcase for Mazda's new SKYACTIV engine, chassis, body, and safety technologies and also features Mazda's new KODO design theme.

Also on the Mazda stand will be the new SHINARI concept and a new MX-5 'Spring 2011 Special Edition.'

Mazda claim that their new SKYACTIV technologies will result in reductions in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions across the range. It is part of the Japanese manufacturer's 'Sustainanble Zoom-Zoom' strategy which aims to improve the fuel economy of all Mazda vehicles by 30% by 2015.

The Geneva Motor Show is open to the public from Thursday.
