British car tuner, Lister – better known for producing sports and racing models – has announced ambitious plans to launch the world’s fastest SUV.
The 670bhp Lister LFP - a modified Jaguar F-Pace - will have an estimated 0-60mph of just 3.5 seconds, and a 200mph top speed. The LFP features the extensive use of carbon fibre in its production to reduce weight and aid performance.
Lister are already taking advance orders for the new LFP, which will have a full UK release before the end of the year. Prices for the new model are to start from around £140,000.
It has been a busy year for Lister, with the LFT-666 coupe launched earlier this becoming the fastest-selling model in the marque’s 65-year history.
