A limited edition version of the new Kia Rio has gone on sale priced from £14,595 on-the-road.
The Kia Rio Pulse boasts Clear White or Midnight Black paint as standard, an extra-charge option on all other models in the Rio range, and is further identified by its red roof, front vents, mirror caps and side skirt trims. Black and red faux leather upholstery and red faux leather door inserts are features of the interior, while the fascia trim is finished in red metallic paint.
It also has 17-inch alloy wheels, black radiator grille with chrome surround, privacy glass on the rear side windows and tailgate, sporty leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearshifter, and stainless steel pedals.
In-car entertainment and connectivity features include a six-speaker audio system, five-inch colour touchscreen, DAB radio with RDS messaging, Bluetooth with music streaming, front and rear USB charging points, a reversing camera with dynamic guidelines, rear parking sensors and a 3.5-inch cluster display. Active safety systems include Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Cornering Brake Control, Straight-Line Stability and Hill Start Assist.
The Kia Rio Pulse is powered by a four-cylinder, 16-valve, 1.25-litre multi-point injection petrol engine, developing 83bhp. It features continuously variable valve timing and comes fitted to a five-speed manual gearbox. Kia's engine stop/start system, is standard, helping boost fuel economy up to 58.8mpg combined, with CO2 emissions 109g/km. It accelerates from 0-60mph in 12.5 seconds and has a top speed of 107mph.
