A new limited edition Jeep Wrangler is now available to order priced from £40,505 on-the-road.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon had its first public showing at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, boasting a stronger front axle and heavy-duty cast rear differential covers for even greater 4x4 off-roading capability.
The Recon special edition builds on the current Wrangler Rubicon model by adding 18-inch Low Gloss Granite Crystal painted aluminium wheels, a black dual top - including both soft and hardtop options - dual-vented Power Dome hood, black fuel filler door, and a black hard spare tyre cover. Gobi, Bright White, and Granite Crystal are the three available paint finish options, while Rubicon decals complete the exterior styling package.
Black-and-red features heavily in the interior colour scheme. Red accent stitching contrasts the standard black leather heated seats, which also feature a Rubicon embroidered logo. There’s also a black vinyl-wrapped front door armrest and console lid with black stitching, red accent netting on front door pockets and centre console, unique leather-wrapped steering wheel and red accent coloured seatbelts.
Jeep’s 284bhp 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine powers the Wrangler Rubicon Recon, matched to an automatic five-speed gearbox.
That £40,505 price will buy the two-door version, with the four-door priced at £42,175, with both available to order now at Jeep retailers.
