Lexus are to unveil a new GT hybrid concept at the New York Auto Show. The new LF-Gh is, according to Lexus, a "redefinition of the luxury grand tourer."
The blue LED badges on the front grille and bootlid are subtle giveaways of the hybrid technology under the bonnet. Unfortunately, Lexus have not released any information on LF-Gh's oily bits, but they do claim that the LF-Gh is "a perfect blend of style, performance, efficiency and environmental compatibility."
On the outside, the LF-Gh embodies Lexus' L-finesses design philosophy and should be a good indication of how the next generation of Lexuses (or is that Lexi?) will be styled. LED front and rear lights, sophisticated aerodynamic ducting and twin-spoke 20" alloy wheels complete the LF-Gh's look.
On the inside, Lexus has created a driver-orientated cabin with a high-visibility instrument panel. Lexus claims that the interior is finished in high quality materials with finely honed detailing.
All in all, you'd have to say that the LF-Gh certainly looks the part. More details will no doubt be released when the car is unveiled at next week's New York International Auto Show.
