Hard Top versions of the Land Rover Defender 90 and Defender 110 models will be released later this year.

The Defender 90 and 110 Hard Tops will both feature independent coil-sprung suspension, with the latter available with advanced electronic air suspension. Both have ground clearance of 291mm, while the 110 Hard Top will have approach, breakover and departure angles of up to 38, 28 and 40 degrees respectively, and a maximum wading depth of 900mm. The all-wheel drive Defender Hard Top models will have a payload and towing capacity of up 3,500kg, and comes with Land Rover’s intelligent Advanced Tow Assist system.

Inside the cabin is Land Rover’s ClearSight Rear View mirror system which preserves rearward visibility when the optional third seat is occupied or when the load space is full by using a live video feed from a rear-facing camera.

The Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system gives access to all the major vehicle functions as well as smartphone integration using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Software-Over-The-Air downloads. A 3D Surround Camera system provides an all-round visualisation of the vehicle on the central touchscreen, helping drivers manoeuvre safely in tight spaces or position the vehicle close to items ready for loading. A remote smartphone app enables businesses to keep track of the location, fuel level and journey history of their vehicle remotely.

Prices are yet to be confirmed, but are expected to start from around £35,000 + VAT.
