Kia has announced the pricing and specification details for its new three-door Pro_cee'd hatchback.
The Pro_cee'd is the third model to join the new Cee'd range, following the five-door hatchback and the Sportswagon Estate. The Pro_cee'd will also be offered in hot GT form, becoming Kia's first ever hot hatchback.
Two trim levels will be on offer -- S and SE -- and both will be available with a choice of a 133bhp 1.6-litre GDI petrol engine and a 126bhp 1.6-litre diesel. All cars come with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, while diesel SE models will also be available with a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox. All models come with stop-start technology as standard.
In terms of standard equipment, S models get 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, air-conditioning, Bluetooth, parking sensors and automatic headlights. Upgrading to SE spec adds 17-inch alloys, automatic windscreen wipers, a colour reversing camera, a seven-inch touchscreen sat-nav and electric seats.
All models also come with Kia's Flex Steer system, which offers a choice between three different steering settings: Normal, Sport and Comfort.
Prices for the Pro_cee'd start from £17,495 for the S petrol, rising to £20,795 for the range-topping SE diesel with the dual-clutch gearbox. All models come with Kia's seven-year/100,000 mile warranty.
