Order books are now open for the all-new Kia Picanto X-Line.

Prices start at £12,595 for the X-Line, which was first unveiled at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
It comes as standard with 1.25-litre petrol engine and five-speed manual gearbox, with a four-speed automatic transmission available for a further £650.  CO2 emissions are as low as 106g/km, with a combined fuel economy figure of 61.4mpg.

The new X-Line specification gives the Picanto a longer, wider, and taller stance, with increased ground clearance.  SUV-inspired bumpers with metallic skid plates add to that rugged persona.  TheX-Line features unique lime green highlights on the grille and fog lamp surrounds, black cladding around the side sills and wheel arches, body-colour exterior door handles, rear privacy glass, twin exhausts, 16-inch alloy wheels, shark-fin antenna, and projection headlights with LED daytime running lights and fog lamps.

Lime green also features on the inside, where there is contrasting stitching on the flat-bottomed steering wheel, gear lever gaiter and armrests.  A 7.0-inch floating touchscreen with DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto is included, as is a unique grey faux leather upholstery, a central armrest, satin chrome interior door handles, stainless-steel pedals with rubber inserts, cruise control with speed limiter, automatic air conditioning, and keyless entry.

Safety features include an Advanced High Strength Steel body construction, six airbags, Vehicle Stability Management, Electronic Stability Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Torque Vectoring, and Hill-start Assist Control.

The five-door Kia Picanto X-Line has a boot capacity of 255 litres, rising to 1,010 litres once the 60:40 split-folding rear seats have been folded flat.

As with every Kia, the Picanto X-Line comes with a 7-year/100,000-mile parts and labour warranty, which is fully transferable.
