Our coverage of the build up to the Geneva International Motor Show continues with Kia’s latest offering.
The GT Line model is a combination of the sporty looks of the existing Cee’d GT and the versatility of the original Cee’d; Kia say it will provide more power and torque whilst maintaining an impressive record on economy.
This latest model will mark the debut for Kia’s brand new 1.0 litre T-GDi engine which is a downsized three cylinder unit designed to produce high power and performance alongside good fuel efficiency and emissions. It will produce 120 PS and includes a high pressure direct injection system and an advanced cooling system.
The exterior will feature ice cube LED daytime running lights and an updated bumper surrounding the tiger nose grille; a wider rear bumper will house twin exhausts and LED lighting. A new 17 inch alloy wheel design will come as standard with all Cee’d GT Line models.
Inside the cabin has been upgraded to include new grey, white and black upholstery with grey stitching and GT Line logos throughout. The leather steering wheel and aluminium pedals are taken from the GT model but the aluminium stop/start button is all new.
