Almost a thousand Kia Sorento models sold to UK buyers are being recalled by the manufacturer due to a fault.

A total of 965 models produced between 1 September and 14 December 2020 are affected due to a fault with the car’s eCall SOS feature.  Kia is not aware of any injuries or accidents caused by this issue, and is contacting affected owners directly, but any customers with concerns or queries can call Kia Customer Services on 0800 0158 757.

Remedial work will be carried out free-of-charge by a Kia technician in an appointment that should last no more than 30 minutes to an hour.
