Jeep have announced a number of improvements to their Wrangler range, including a new 75th Anniversary limited edition version.
The range now starts at £31,840 on-the-road for the Wrangler Sahara 2-door automatic, whose 2.8-litre diesel engine has been updated to meet Euro 6 emissions standard. Other updates to the Sahara trim include front side airbags, deep-tint sunscreen glass, 18-inch polished satin alloy wheels, and a 3.73 rear axle ratio.
Overland trim models also gain front side airbags and a 3.73 rear axle ratio, while Rubicon specification now has front side airbags, deep-tint sunscreen glass, 18-inch Rubicon satin alloy wheels, Mopar slush mats and heated black leather seats.
Prices for the 75th Anniversary model start from £34,765 on-the-road, and just 85 examples of the Wrangler 75th Anniversary models are headed for the UK. First revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the Wrangler 75th Anniversary edition builds on the existing Overland trim level with enhancements including bronze-finished front grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured dual top, Mopar slush mats, unique bronze and orange Jeep badging, and a 75th Anniversary badge. Paint choices consist of Bright White, Solid Black or Sarge Green. In the cabin you’ll find ‘1941’ embossed leather heated seats in a choice of black or saddle brown and tangerine, bronze accents on the air vents and grab handles, an Alpine premium sound system, deep tinted sunscreen glass, and satellite navigation.
