Jaguar Land Rover is the UK’s biggest provider of automotive apprenticeships and they hope to recruit 200 new apprentices in 2015.

620 young recruits are currently part of their successful scheme and operate across the company’s six UK sites; this represents around half of the total number employed across the whole automotive industry. Jaguar Land Rover say they provide a perfect mix of on the job learning and academic knowledge; entrants arrive at either GCSE or A-level standard and can look forward to working in a range of departments.

Noor Owarish joined the scheme in 2014 and he said “Jaguar Land Rover has given me an amazing opportunity to work alongside class-leading engineers whilst studying for a fully-funded BEng Degree at Warwick, which is one of the country’s most renowned universities. We apprentices have joined a growing, globally-respected company and I am excited about the career opportunities at Jaguar Land Rover.”

Jaguar Land Rover has been ranked Top Employer for School & College Leavers 2014 – 15 by ‘All About School Leavers’.  The ranking reveals the best employers in the UK that offer Intermediate, Advanced and Higher Apprenticeships, School Leaver Programmes and Sponsored Degrees. The company’s relentless growth is allowing them to offer excellent opportunities to young people across the UK.
