The Infiniti brand is celebrating spectacular September sales figures, selling nearly twice as many vehicles on the European market compared to the same month last year.

It was the best September performance in Infiniti’s 27-year history. Infiniti sold 1,790 vehicles in Europe last month, bringing the total number sold so far in 2016 to 13,176. France has been Infiniti’s biggest European growth market, but the UK has also seen a considerable rise in sales. So far this year Infiniti has sold 2,500 vehicles in the UK, up by 181% on the same period last year.

Infiniti has just debuted its new VC-Turbo engine at the Paris Motor Show, billed as the world’s first production-ready variable compression ratio engine. Also making its bow in Paris was the 2017 Q50 sports sedan, which is due to arrive in showrooms soon.
