An illegal immigrant was caught trying to enter Spain despite pretending to be a car seat.
Police caught the 20-year-old from Guinea trying to sneak into Spain on Friday.
Whatever your views on illegal immigration, you have to give the man top marks for ingenuity. The man had hollowed out the inside of the passenger seat in his Renault 7 and then slid inside the seat's hollow carcass. The seat padding was then reattached to the seat to hide the man from view.
Police's suspicions were aroused when, on examining the car, one officer put his hand on the seat and, instead of feeling foam, felt human flesh instead.
All three occupants of the car have since been deported.
Despite the illegality of their actions, police had to commend the men for their approach, branding their attempts to pass undetected as 'unique and innovative'.
