Hyundai have confirmed further specification and pricing details for its refreshed i20 range, which hits UK showrooms from the start of next month.
Most notably, the compact crossover i20 Active joins the range priced from £15,225, which includes 17-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, DAB radio and rear parking sensors all as standard equipment.
The Hyundai i20 Active’s rugged appeal is enhanced by unique bumpers, roof rails, a rear spoiler and a 20mm-increased ride height. Powered by the new three-cylinder 1.0-litre T-GDi, the i20 Active offers low running costs with a combined fuel economy of up to 58.9mpg and CO2 emissions of just 110g/km.
The same engine now appears in a number of models in the 2016 i20 model line up, providing a performance and economy boost compared to its 1.4-litre predecessor. It is available in SE model trim upwards, prices for which start from £14025, while in the i20 Premium and Coupe Sport models – which start from £15,525 – fuel economy rises to 58.9mpg combined despite the extra power.
Improvements to specification levels see the i20 SE now have DAB radio and a fresh 15-inch alloy wheel design, while the Premium Nav, Premium SE Nav and Coupe Sport Nav models now come with TomTom Live traffic services as standard. Another change sees i20’s ordered in Iced Coffee, Passion Red and Stardust Grey finishes come with a black interior, rather than the previous brown and beige interiors.
All Hyundai models, including the refreshed i20 range, come with Hyundai’s 5-year unlimited mileage warranty.
