A new electrified SUV from SEAT will hit UK roads next year.
Production of the SEAT Tarraco e-HYBRID began this week, with UK-bound models due to arrive in the latter half of 2021.
The plug-in hybrid version of the brand’s flagship SUV will deliver up to 241bhp and has an all-electric range of over 30 miles. Using the 13kWh lithium-ion battery pack in tandem with the 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine gives an overall range of up to 454 miles. The battery can fully-charged in just three-and-a-half hours using an AC charging point and 3.6kW wallbox charger, and less than five hours with a 2.3kW charger.
UK specification will consist of FR and Xcellence trim levels, with prices to be confirmed next year.
