The CR-V has sold over 750,000 units worldwide and its popularity looks set to continue into this year with a range of enhancements.
Honda’s flagship compact SUV has become a huge driver in maintaining their share of the European market and the Japanese manufacturer says that this latest CR-V has been specifically designed for British consumers. It will include a brand new diesel engine linked to a nine speed automatic transmission which they claim will offer unrivalled power to consumption ratio; it will also up the ante in terms of technology and infotainment.
Available with the four-wheel drive CR-V, the new higher-powered 160 PS 1.6-litre i-DTEC four-cylinder diesel engine, from Honda's Earth Dreams Technology series is said to deliver outstanding performance and low CO2 emissions.
It will also host the latest Honda Connect audio and information system including DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity, rear view parking camera and satellite navigation. A seven inch display screen will offer Android 4.0.4 connectivity.
Honda expects the 2015 CR-V to be available for viewing in UK showrooms from spring.
