New images of the production Honda e have been released.

The production version of the all-electric Honda e will make its official debut at the 2019 Franfurt Motor Show as Honda continues to work towards a plan to make all of their European sales electrified by the middle of the next decade.

Clean, simple, but quirky styling includes cutting-edge features such as a Side Camera Mirror System that replaces conventional side view mirrors with compact cameras, a first in the compact segment which brings benefits for styling, safety, and aerodynamics.  Pop-out door handles aid that seamless look.  A next-generation, five screen, full-width digital dashboard, and connected infotainment system are in the cabin.  Dual 12.3-inch LCD touchscreens are the primary infotainment displays, allowing access to a range of applications and connected infotainment services.  Saying “OK Honda” activates the smart artificial intelligence Honda Personal Assistant, which learns individual voices to deliver accurate responses to questions and instructions.  My Honda+ smartphone app offers access to navigation, detailed vehicle condition report, remote climate control, security and location monitoring, battery charge control and range monitor, and charging station and navigation search results.  The Honda e is also accessible using a digital key, allowing the car to be locked and unlocked using only the smartphone app.

Under its skin, Honda e is powered by a choice of either a 100kW or 113kW electric motor, allied with a compact 35.5kWh battery.  A range of over 135 miles is available on a single charge, and the Honda e’s fast-charging capability allows recharge to 80% capacity in half-an-hour.  Power is fed to the rear wheels, with 0-62mph acceleration in around 8 seconds.
