Ford Fiesta ST on sale now | New Release - Car News May 2018

Order books are now open for the new Ford Fiesta ST.

Priced from £18,995 for the ST-1 trim, the St features new selectable drive modes, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, Recaro seats, sports suspension as standard, electric heated door mirrors, SYNC3 DAB radio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, cruise control, and NCAP Pack with Lane-Keeping Alert and speed limiter.

The ST-2 starts from £19,995 and adds climate control, heated Recaro front seats with blue seatbelts, B&O PLAY premium sound system, and a larger eight-inch touchscreen.

Starting at £21,495, the ST-3 gains 18-inch alloy wheels and red brake calipers, satellite navigation, automatic rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming rear view mirror, Traffic Sign Recognition, auto high beam, and driver alert.

A new Performance Pack, which includes a Quaife limited slip differential, launch control and performance shift lights, available for £850 on ST-2 and ST-3 trims. Also available are full LED headlamps for an extra £600, and Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Alert at £475.

The Fiesta ST’s all-new, three-cylinder, 1.5-litre EcoBoost engine gives a 0-62mph time of 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 144mph. New cylinder deactivation technology improves fuel efficiency by automatically stopping fuel delivery and valve operation for one of the cylinders, helping new Fiesta ST to return a combined fuel economy of 47.1mpg, and CO2 emissions of 136g/km. This technology can disengage and re-engage 20 times faster than the blink of an eye.

Selectable Drive Modes include Normal, Sport and Track settings, and also adjust the Fiesta ST’s Electronic Sound Enhancement technology and active exhaust noise control valve, which amplifies the sound of the engine note.

Race Red, Frozen White, Magnetic, Moondust Silver, Shadow Black, Silver Fox, and Performance Blue comprise the choices.
