Ford enjoyed a van-tastic start to 2020, with their best-ever January commercial vehicle sales performance.
With 8,700 units sold in January, Ford commercial vehicle sales were up by almost 5% on the same month last year. The Ford Transit Custom and Transit models occupied the top-two positions in the UK commercial vehicle sales charts for January, with the Ranger and Transit Connect models also in the top ten. Such was the Transit Custom’s popularity, it outsold its nearest rival by more than two-to-one.
January was also a successful month for Ford passenger cars, with the Fiesta and Focus maintaining their positions as the UK’s two most popular new cars. The Kuga was also in the top ten, with Ford the only manufacturer to have three models in the list.
