Ford’s special edition Mustang Bullitt has proved such a hit with customers that they have had to extend production of the model.

Launched last year to celebrate half-a-century since the release of the iconic Steve McQueen movie Bullitt, the special edition model sold out immediately.  However, production is now being extended into 2020 to meet demand.

The 453bhp, 5.0-litre V8-powered Mustang Bullitt is available to order now priced from £48,210 on-the-road.

Finished in either Shadow Black, or the famous Dark Highland Green,  the Mustang Bullitt has 19-inch Torq Thrust-style wheels and red Brembo brake callipers, while inside is a 12-inch all-digital LCD instrument cluster, Recaro sports seats with stitching to match the exterior paint, and an individually numbered plaque.  FordPass Connect modem provides features such as Live Traffic, Wi-Fi hotspot, remote locking & unlocking, and smartphone vehicle location, and is also included as standard on the Mustang Bullitt, as is a 1000-watt, 12-speaker B&O PLAY audio system.

Available to order now, deliveries will arrive at UK customers early in 2020.
