Ford have confirmed that the all-new Mustang will make its UK debut at the Goodwood Revival meeting which takes place this coming weekend.
It is half a century since Ford first introduced the Mustang, but the latest model will be the first to officially go on sale in the UK in right-hand drive form.
The Goodwood Revival will be a double celebration for the blue oval brand, who will also be commemorating 50 years since the launch of the iconic Ford Transit, which in that time has gone on to become the nation's favourite commercial vehicle.
A brace of Ford GT40s will also be in attendance to mark 45 years since Bruce McLaren died in a testing accident at the Goodwood Circuit. The Formula One star won the 1966 Le Mans 24 Hour race behind the wheel of a GT40 partnered by fellow New Zealander Chris Amon, spearheading a 1-2-3 finish for Ford.
