A teaser sketch released by Volkswagen has provided a hint of what the latest generation Transporter will look like.
The sixth generation of the popular Transporter will make its official world premiere on 15 April before going on UK sale later this year, but the image released by the manufacturer of a fresh and sharply-styled design on distinctive deep alloys offers an insight into what the new model will look like.
The original Transporter celebrates its 65th birthday this year, and over the course of the previous five generations of the model it has become a popular and iconic model. The Volkswagen Transporter has gone on to be one of the world’s best-selling light commercial vehicles in a variety of body styles and uses, including panel van and minibus.
