Fiat have released a special version of their iconic 500 to celebrate the 60th birthday of the model.
The Fiat 500 Anniversario is available to order now priced from £14,265, and features a modern-day re-interpretation of many of the styling features which gave the original 1957 Fiat 500 such an enduring appeal.
The Anniversario series includes two new exclusive colours – Sicilia Orange and Riviera Green – both designed to evoke memories of the original 500’s 60s heyday. Other retro items include chrome accents on the bonnet and door mirror caps, vintage Fiat logos, and period-style 16-inch alloy wheels. The retro theme continues on the inside where horizontal striped seat fabric with body-colour contrast piping logo and body-coloured dashboard can be found.
However, with automatic climate control, cruise control and rear parking sensors as standard, the 500 Anniversario is not without its modern-day creature comforts. Customers can also specify the optional Tech Pack, which includes a 7-inch TFT instrument panel, Uconnect 7-inch HD LIVE radio, Apple Car Play and Android Auto, and satnav.
Both hatchback and convertible versions are available, and with a 69bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine returns up to 60.1mpg combined with just 110g/km of CO2 emissions.
