A new special edition SEAT Leon CUPRA R ST has been announced which, when chosen with the optional tuning pack, becomes the fastest-ever model offered by the brand.
Paying an extra £500 on top of the £37,975 on-the-road price adds an ABT tuning pack which takes the 2.0 TSI petrol engine from an already potent 296bhp up to a ferocious 365bhp. As a result, the Leon CUPRA R ST is capable of reaching 62mph from standstill in just four-and-a-half seconds.
To cope with the power, the Leon CUPRA R ST’s standard specification includes an advanced 4Drive system, Brembo brakes, seven-speed DSG transmission, modified front suspension that alters the negative camber, and quad exhaust pipes.
Externally, the Leon CUPRA R ST is set apart by its lateral air intakes with copper colour treatment, the extensive use of carbon fibre on the front splitter, rear spoiler, side skirts and rear diffuser. Magnetic Tech, Midnight Black, Nevada White or Blackness Grey paintwork is available. Inside are bucket seats, a panoramic sunroof, copper accents and carbon fibre detailing.
Just 150 examples of the SEAT Leon CUPRA R ST are set for the UK, adding to the model’s exclusivity.
