Felipe Massa and Damon Hill will drive the Williams FW18 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Williams team is a set-up which symbolises the theme for this year’s festival, ‘Addicted to Winning’ more than most. With 114 grand prix victories and 9 constructors’ titles they became an iconic name in motorsport.

Last weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix saw Felipe Massa start in pole position and this weekend will see him drive the famous FW18. The car took Damon Hill to the 1996 drivers championship and won no less than 12 of the 16 Grand Prix races that season.

Felipe Massa said: “This will be my first time back at Goodwood since 2003 when I drove the Ferrari F2002. It will be nice to go back as there is always a great atmosphere at Goodwood and it’s a great event. I’m really happy to be able to get behind the wheel of one of the team’s historic cars. It will be fantastic to drive such an incredible car as the FW18. I’m also looking forward to driving in front of all the amazing fans that have a true love of all motor sports.”

Goodwood’s 1.16 mile hill will also play host to Damon Hill who typified the winning spirit of the Williams team with 21 Grand Prix wins. He is the latest F1 World Champion to beaded to the bill for this weekend’s event, it also includes Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, John Surtees, Jackie Stewart, Kimi Raikkonen and Emerson Fittipaldi.
