The high-performance Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has gone on sale priced from £89,999 on-the-road.
Just 20 examples of the 710bhp V8 supercharged Trackhawk will be available this year. That power plant propels the 4x4 from 0-62mph in just 3.7 seconds, and – thanks to its new Brembo brake system – back to a stop again in just 37 metres. Top speed is 180mph, and the Trackhawk’s considerable power is translated into optimised driving performance by the five-mode Selec-Trac system and Bilstein active damping suspension.
Externally, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is set apart by body-coloured flared wheel arches, a sculpted bonnet with hood vents, and quad exhaust tips. The seven-slot upper front grille is flanked by adaptive, bi-xenon headlamps and LED character lamp treatment, while the headlamps themselves feature a unique Gloss Black background. All-new 20-inch titanium finish wheels, yellow Brembo brake calipers, a ‘Supercharged’ badge on both front doors, and a ‘Trackhawk’ badge on the boot complete the look
Also included are ‘Trackhawk’ branded Laguna leather seats and Berber floor mats, premium metal accents, Active Noise Cancellation, leather-stitched instrument panel, doors, centre console and armrest, an 825 watt Harman Kardon sound system with 19 speakers, 7-inch driver information display, and a new 8.4-inch Uconnect display featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features include Trailer Hitch Camera View at Speed, Adaptive Cruise Control with stop function, Advanced Brake Assist, Blind-spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path Detection, Full-speed Forward Collision Warning with Crash Mitigation, Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist, Lane Departure Warning-Plus, and Ready Alert Braking.
