The all-electric Volkswagen e-up! has been substantially improved, and can now cover almost double its previous range from a single charge.

A larger lithium-ion battery pack means the all-electric e-up! can now cover almost 160 miles on a single charge, up from 83 miles previously.

Priced from £19,695 on-the-road, the Volkswagen e-up! includes multifunction camera with Lane Assist, curtain airbags, smartphone integration cradle, heated front seats, heated windscreen, climate control, rain sensing wipers, electrically heated and adjustable door mirrors, cruise control, 15-inch wheels, bespoke bumpers, and C-shaped daytime running lights.

The new improved e-up! is available to order now at Volkswagen retailers.
